READ MORE ABOUT TIETY BAY VANRHYNSDORP Van Rhynsdorp, also known as Vanrhynsdorp in Afrikaans, is a town in South Africa's Western Cape province's West Coast District Municipality. After Pieter van Meerhoff's exploration of the region in 1661 as the first Europeans, Trutro (pronounced "TroeTroe") was the original name of Van Rhynsdorp. The Trutro homestead at Van Rhynsdorp was completed in 1751, and the same year the Troe-Troe Zending ("Mission") was founded. In 1881 the town's name was changed to Van Rhynsdorp (Vanrhynsdorp in Afrikaans). READ MORE ABOUT VREDENBURG VREDENDAL The small town of Vredendal, located at the southernmost tip of Namaqualand, is named after a "peaceful settlement" that restored harmony between two warring parties, as its name suggests. This relatively new town is located in the Green Rand of the Olifants River Valley. The largest wine cellar in South Africa, as well as a number of boutique wineries and a dried fruit pot, are all located within the built infrastructure of Vredendal. The current town, which was once part of the old Vredendal estate and dates back to 1748, is situated on the banks of the Olifants River and has developed into something of a hub for the Matzikama region, which is recognised for its striking sand plains, rocky mountains, and some of the most diversified specimens of indigenous vegetation. READ MORE ABOUT WEST CURRENT PARK WUPPERTHAL The small town of Wupperthal, sometimes spelled Wuppertal, is located in South Africa's Western Cape region in the Cederberge. About 100 years before the city of Wuppertal was formally created, it was founded in 1830 by two German missionaries of the Rhenish Mission Society (Rheinische Mission), Theobald von Wurmb and Johann Gottlieb Leipoldt, the grandfather of C. Louis Leipoldt. The decision was made in 1965 to integrate Wupperthal into the Moravian Church, which by then had already transformed from a mission to an autonomous church in South Africa as the Rhine Mission gradually scaled back its activities there over a period of 40 years . The community is still a Moravian mission station. READ MORE ABOUT WUPPERTHAL YZERFONTEIN On the west coast of South Africa, 90 kilometres north of Cape Town, is the small port town of Yzerfontein, also known as Ysterfontein, which has a population of around 1200. The name translates to "Ysterfontein" in Afrikaans. The farm 'Yzerfontein' was purchased by the Katz family in the 1930s, and that is how the town got its start. They then began to create plots on the land. Tourism, mining and fishing are the main industries, especially from August to the end of September, when wildflowers are in bloom. The Yzerfontein beach, Sestienmylstrand, which stretches north from Yzerfontein's main beach to the town's border with the West Coast National Park, is a well-known feature of the area. Another nature reserve, Dassen Island, is located about 10 kilometres off the coast. READ MORE ABOUT YZERFONTEIN List your Holiday Accommodation with us and get ready for better bookings! Smart idea from us, right? Your Welcome~! Here's some more information about the move of 'venue' as of Friday, April 18, 2025. 🌊 Our Weskus Jou Lekker Ding Braaidag is where our Facebook group members—the heart of our Weskus Jou Lekker Ding family—come together to braai, dance, and celebrate our love for Afrikaans and our braai traditions! 🥩🎶 It fills us and me personally with joy to see how you: our loyal members who have walked the path with us for years, and new friends who are now joining, laugh, swap stories, and live the West Coast vibes. 🕺💃 This Braaiadag is special for YOU—a day to hang out with family and friends, throw meat on the coals, and show what it means to be part of this unique group. 🔥 It's not a big, shiny festival, but a warm, genuine gathering where we can be ourselves, make noise, and enjoy life as only the West Coast can! 🥳 Buy your R100 ticket now on our website www.weskusjoulekkerding.co.za for the 3 May 2025 Braai Day at Knor Varkie Bergrivier! 🎟️ Why is that ticket worth its weight in gold? Because it’s your proof that you were part of our special day of the year, with a few little surprises for you as a ticket holder—nothing that will rock the world, but straight from our hearts to make you smile! 😄 Firstly, every ticket holder will receive a secret Braai Day 2025 gift from us as organizers—a little thank you for your support. 🎁 Secondly, if you feel like braaiing (and we pray everyone will light those coals, because that’s why we’re here!), you don’t have to bring your own wood—we’ll sort it for you! 🪵 Then there’s the drinks: Ticket holders get special discounts on drinks at Knor Varkie, like Charlotte’s legendary brandy and 2L Coke combo or a whiskey deal that will make your wallet smile. 🥃 Let’s be honest—how much can one person actually drink in a day? 😊 This makes the party super affordable! And to get the braai spirit going, every ticket holder gets a Riaan’tjie Braai Brooitjie to braai alongside your meat, which you bring with you because you’re allowed to bring in your own food! 😄 And of course, for those of us who find it too much trouble to braai ourselves that day, Knor Varkie has an awesome menu of food prepared by their restaurant. I know Ouma Maksie will be ordering from Charlotte’s kitchen again, just like in 2022, hehe! 😜 But Monica, your Blue Bulls-ass from Belgium, will be braaiing that day—I want to see if you can braai a Blue Bull steak, hehe! 🥩 Plus, you get a choice of four delicious salads, fresh bread with real butter, and who knows—maybe a piece of hake or snoek will sneak onto the table too! 🥗🍞🐟😉 With your unique bracelet (which you get after we scan your ticket on our Wix Event system), you’ll feel like a valued VIP. 🎉 That bracelet shows you’re one of our Weskus Jou Lekker Ding family, and lets us easily recognize you in the crowd as part of this special day—our way of giving our members extra love! 😊 Your ticket says: “I’m part of the Weskus Jou Lekker Ding family!” We appreciate everyone who supports us, and for those who requested refunds after the venue change, we refunded them immediately. 🙏 But now time is up—the refund option is closed, because everyone had enough chance to respond to our email. This means we’re now fully focused on having fun at Knor Varkie! Your R100 helps us to hold these Braaidae year after year for our members, to try new things like our website, and to bring the brand new Weskus Jou Lekker Ding app, which is now ready, to everyone on the West Coast. The app will help you with easy access to events and special offers. 📱 Your support means we can grow this tradition and keep our group together for years to come for braai, music and friendship. 🌟 Yes, Knor Varkie means drinks are bought there, but the discount for ticket holders makes it a win-win. And unlike other places where we had to keep quiet, here we can make noise, dance until late and let the party rock! 🎤 At Knor Varkie, we are free to celebrate the West Coast spirit—and that's exactly what we're going to do. The economy may be pinching—really, we know it's not easy, we all feel it, times are tough. But luckily we South Africans are so strong; we can weather anything that comes our way! 💪 This annual Braai Day is a celebration of those of us who have survived another year of hardship and are still here, standing together and laughing. 😄 People are starting to whisper that our Braai Day feels a bit like a mini-festival party, but for now it is still our own, special gathering for our members—and YOUR ticket makes it possible! 🤙 Don’t miss out—buy your ticket now on our website and come braai, dance and hang out with us at Knor Varkie. Come celebrate the West Coast with us on a day that will bring us all closer together! 🥂 See you there for a day that we will all cherish! 🎉🔥 Uitverkoop WESKUS JOU LEKKER DING BRAAIDANS 2025 Weskus Jou Lekker Ding (Pty) Ltd presents the 'WESKUS JOU LEKKER DING BRAIADANS 2025'! Brief explanation of what the platform / software consists of, in other words, what are you buying under license with the Franchise! Our software uses AI technology, to save time & money! WUBER is driven by a commitment to relentless innovation. Our apps and website leverage the latest technology, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the ride-hailing industry, and our apps and website are a testament to this commitment. 1. User program: Passengers use the application to: Set their pick-up and drop-off locations. See estimated fare prices before booking. View driver details and track their arrival on a map. Choose payment methods and manage ride history. The app uses GPS to determine the user's location and connect them with available drivers nearby. 2. Driver application: Drivers use the app to: See ride requests in their area. Accept or reject rides based on location, fare, or other preferences. Navigate to the pickup location with in-app GPS and maps. Collect fares electronically or manage cash payments (depending on the service). Communicate with passengers through the app (text or calls). 3. Matching algorithm: The heart of the system lies in the matching algorithm. It takes into account several factors to efficiently connect riders with drivers: Passenger location and requested destination. Driver location and availability. Traffic conditions and estimated travel time. Manager's rating and past performance. 4. Tariff calculation engine: This engine determines the fare for each trip based on a predetermined formula. It typically factors in: Base fare - a fixed amount for the start of the ride. Distance covered during the trip. Time spent in the journey (to account for traffic delays). Surcharges (increased rates during peak demand times). 5. Payment Processing System: Riders can link their credit or debit cards to the app for seamless electronic payments. The system securely processes payments, deducts commissions for the email service, and transfers remaining earnings to managers. 6. Communication and feedback system: The application facilitates two-way communication between riders and drivers. After each ride, both parties can provide ratings and feedback to ensure quality service and improve the overall experience. 7. Admin panel and analytics: WUBER E-hailing software has a dedicated admin panel for: Monitoring system performance and managing resources. Analyze data on ridership, driver activity, and driving patterns. Identification of areas for improvement and strategic growth plans.
