Pizza The history of pizza begins in antiquity, when various ancient cultures made basic flatbreads with various toppings. A precursor to pizza was probably focaccia, a flatbread known to the Romans as panis focacius, to which the addition was added. Modern pizza originated from similar flatbread dishes in Naples, Italy, in the 18th or early 19th century. The word pizza was first documented in 997 AD in Gaeta and subsequently in various parts of central and southern Italy. Pizza was eaten primarily in Italy and from there by emigrants. This changed after World War II when Allied troops stationed in Italy came to enjoy pizza, along with other Italian foods. - 🏞️ Piket-Bo-Berg | West Coast's Elevated Farm & Trail Escape 🍎🚴♀️
Discover Piket-Bo-Berg, a serene mountain plateau offering breathtaking views & lush fruit orchards! Explore hiking & MTB trails, find fresh produce at the Farmers' Market, and enjoy a tranquil farm stay high above the West Coast. Your peaceful retreat awaits! PIKET-BO-BERG WEST COAST WEST COAST HOLIDAY STAY As provided by: Weskus Jou Lekker Ding Slaap! Glo my, voorkoms kan bedrieglik wees. Welkom by die Berg, Piketberg. Van hier af ry 'n bietjie dieper in die historiese hart van Piketberg waar jy Berg Coffee and Piquet Collective by Historiese roete no 2 in Kerkstraat sal vind. 'n hele klomp hande ek is seker. Although there is a place to sit, we would like to suggest that if you own a camp chair, to bring it with you for safety, as well as cutlery, own meat, salads, spices, other side dishes, but no alcoholic refreshments, because they must bought from the bar that the 'Venue' makes available to us, that's the only bit of money they can make that day as we don't charge any entrance fees for participating in our BraaiDag. The owners of River Market Restaurant & SHIPWRECK BAR promised to give us good prices on the drinks and other refreshments, such as Milkshakes for the children and smears.
