We kick off the 2023 Weskus Jou Lekker Ding's annual Braai Day (or as we call it, the Weskus Fees) at exactly 09:00am at the River Market Restaurant & SHIPWRECK BAR in Velddrif. Last year's West Coast Jou Lekker Ding BraaiDag was also held in Velddrif at the Knor Varkie open-air Restaurant and Bar, but this year promises to be even bigger and more delicious. We will be holding a formal "Potjiekos Competition" that day, and those who are not participating in the potjiekos competition will have a nice braai together for their families, relatives and friends. Although there is seating, we would like to suggest that if you own a camp chair, for safety reasons, you should bring it with you, as well as cutlery, your own meat, salads, spices, other side dishes and more, but no alcoholic refreshments, because these must be purchased at the bar that makes the 'Venue' available to us, that's the only bit of money they can make that day since we do not charge any entrance fees for participating in our BraaiDag. The owners of River Market Restaurant & SHIPWRECK BAR promised to give us good prices on drinks and other refreshments, such as Milkshakes for the children and more.
